Then Union Public Service Commission conducted the National Defence Academic (NDA) examination twice time in a year such as NDA 1 & NDA 2. It is a national level examination. Eligibility

  • Only Male candidates can apply.
  • Candidates should be physically and mentally sound.
  • Candidate resigning from any of the training academies of armed forces on disciplinary grounds will not be eligible to apply. (A candidate resigning from any of the Armed Forces training academies on disciplinary grounds will not be eligible to apply.
  • Only Unmarried candidates can apply.

Age Limit

  1. Minimum Age Limit: The minimum age limit of candidates should be 16 years.
  2. Maximum Age Limit: The maximum age limit of candidates should be 19 years.

Candidate must be born between 2nd January 2002 – 1st January 2005. 

Educational Qualification

  • For Air Force and Naval Wing – Candidates should have at least cleared class 12th with Maths and Physics as a subject from the recognized board.
  • For Army Wing –  Candidates should have at least cleared class 12th from the recognized board.
  • Candidates who are appearing for class 12th can also apply for NDA 2.

Application Fee

  • Candidates of Ex-servicemen, ST/SC/NCOs/Ors are exempted to pay fees.
  • The application fees for all other candidates will be Rs. 100/-.
