This is to notify all concerned that online applications are invited from TET, 2014 qualified trained candidates of West Bengal seeking appointment for the posts of Assistant Teachers against 16,500 state-wide vacancies in the Govt. Aided/Sponsored Primary
Junior Basic Schools. The selection and appointment of the candidates will be made in terms of West Bengal Primary School Teachers Recruitment Rules. Recruitment of submission of online application: 23 December 2020
Last date for submission of an online application on: 17 January 2021

Application Fee

Application Fees: Rs. 200/- (Rs. 50/-for SC/ST/PH). The Appointment Notification is also available on the website: www.wbbpe.org, wbbprimaryeducation.org.

Qualification

 (a) No person shall be appointed by the Council as a teacher unless he is a citizen of India and has completed the age of 18 years as on 1st day of January of the year of advertisement (i.e. 01.01.2020) and has not completed the age of 40 years on the 1st day of January of the year of advertisement (i.e. 01.01.2020). Relaxation of age as per the existing rule of the State Govt. is admissible.
(b) The candidate shall possess the minimum educational and training qualification as prescribed by the National Council for Teacher Education prevailing as on date of publication of recruitment notification.
AND

(c)Pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2014, conducted by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education under the order of the Govt. of West Bengal in accordance with the guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.


Relaxation: Candidates belonging to reserved categories viz. candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST). Other Backward Classes (OBC-A and OBC-B). Exempted Categories (EC), Ex-Servicemen, and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates, shall be allowed relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks.

(b) Ability to read, write and speak in any language relating to the medium of school for which the candidates wishes tp ap
